I have always been a supporter of Tanghalang Pilipino's Actors Company I guess since 2007. I was first year in college when I had the chance to watch amazing play productions including their recital and some experimental plays. Since then I have known how high the expectations were whenever TPAC leads the play.

A decade after, I am still happy and honored to see young, but passionate actors do so well in their craft. I am thankful as well to have followed the journey of the new actors since Midsummer Night's Dream. I must say that they have improved a lot! kumbaga Nahihinog na :)

As cultural workers, it is important to create or be part of a piece that shows concern or relations to current events. And I guess, Ang Paguusig could be the summary of what's been happening in our country. The injustice, justice I shall say. "Hindi porket sila ang nagsampa ng kaso ay sila na ang banal" This was the line that shookt me. Yun yun eh! Ika nga. But more than that, I just wanted to enjoy my time watching the excellent performances by the actors -- as always. And I guess to just embrace every single effort they shed on to this.

Overall, the adaptation was well written and executed. It was on point and was on the right track every Act. The acting style and stage blocking are superb! The stage design was simple, but exceptional. The lights are so moody that it makes you absorb the mood of the scene. Great Job to everyone! I could not say anything more. Congratulations! Thank you for giving us an Intense, Powerful and Bold production. I am so glad that your staff allowed me again to capture beautiful scenes of your play. Actually, I did enjoy watching the show more than taking pictures. I hope you'd allow me again... next time... or maybe in all your productions. :)

I will surely watch your next play and will stay hungry for more.
Godbless you all! :)
Please watch Ang Paguusig by Tanghalang Pilipino's Actors Company!
It's a must! :)
They still have a few more slots on their shows on October 20-22!
